Planning an Italian Adventure?

I love travelling. For me travel is an experience which creates wealth in my life. I’ve brought Miss H up to understand that you can buy things, you most likely love them when you first get them, but they won’t be what you remember in years to come. I can count the childhood memories of shopping with my parents on one hand, but the fun times we experienced together on family holidays are endless and it’s these memories that make up a life in my opinion. Good travel experiences are not necessarily about being in the swankiest hotels or eating at a Michelin starred restaurant, nice as these

Ever felt like a bad mother?

Ever felt like a terrible mother? That was me two weeks ago as I put Miss H on the school bus which was taking her to the airport and a 10 hour flight to Sri Lanka for a hockey tour. I know what you’re thinking, how lucky is she? And yes she is, so why did I feel so bad? She had everything she needed for the trip, new bikini’s, tour kit, hockey stick, my favourite mineral suncream and tonsillitis! Yes the tonsillitis had come on with 2 days to departure and she was travelling with the biggest bag of medication you’ve ever seen! We were hitting it hard with both antibiotics and herbal remedies

These are great for anybody and at any time but especially when you’re on a long haul flight. Make sure you keep moving on any long haul flight and stretch at least once every hour. How to Survive a Long Haul Flight

I love travelling, it’s one of the reasons working for myself is so great. I really do get to plan my diary and take off when and where I like. When Miss H first started at a private school I was so shocked by the length of the school holidays and wondered how anyone with a ‘proper job’ would ever cope. For me working from home and being able to be there for her into her teens has been so powerful an experience and I still get to travel whenever I like. I honestly think life is made up of memories not things. You’ll rarely remember the time you went to Bluewater to get a pair of summer sandals

Healthy snack bars for fuel on the go

I have a new healthy treat in my lunch box this week! I’m always looking for healthy, low or no sugar snacks which I can eat when I feel the need for a quick pick me when out and about or on the go. Sometimes a homemade bar wrapped in foil or in a plastic container just doesn’t cut it and you need a more portable bar. If you do have the time to make your own, here’s my go-to recipe for protein bars. My favourite health and wellness brand Arbonne has yet again come up trumps having launched two new protein rich snack bars this month. They continue to amaze me with their fresh approach to health

Skin detox with Rescue & Renew

Arbonne have just launched their new Rescue & Renew range to reinvigorate and help detox your skin and your mind. Having just returned from Las Vegas and Arbonne’s Global Training conference I really see the power of detoxification. My skin is in a mess. My legs and arms are really dry from sun exposure, chemicals in the swimming pool and generally over doing it! You know what I say - put rubbish in and you get rubbish out. All that chlorinated water, burning the candle at both ends, a long haul flight and too many cocktails are showing up now that I’m home! You may feel that this is your skin

Live your greatest life with this one day event

One of the things I love about working with Wellbeing Clients is the growth that they experience in all areas of their life as they start to take a more holistic approach to their health and wellbeing. When I first joined Arbonne as an Independent Consultant, they taught me about the power of personal learning and it is something I have fully embraced. We now have so much information at our fingertips it can be hard to know where to start and so I have been working with Keith Kochner. An amazing International Speaker, Coach and Mentor, and I’m excited to be able to share his philosophy with

Finding the Northern Lights – our visit to Norway

Ah… I just love winter. The cold, bright days and a hoar frost spreading its silvery hands across the lawn and hedgerows. I was so excited last week when we had our first frost. While others were bemoaning how cold it had got (believe me, after returning from our Arbonne trip to the Bahamas at the end of October we’re feeling the cold too), I was celebrating the fact that a frost means that I can now plant my tulips! And I went slightly crazy on the tulips this year! The frost reminded me of this time two years ago when we were finalising our winter trip to see the Northern Lights. It was one
